Acrylic on Arches Aquarelle grain satiné 300g (hot pressed) · 46 × 61 cm · 2026 · Original, one of a kind · Arcádia series
The medina of Marrakech, held as one continuous form against a field of blue.
Walking through it, you never see the whole thing. You see a wall, then a turn, then another wall. What the memory does afterwards is join them up into a single silhouette that never existed, and that silhouette is the painting.
Blue because Marrakech is remembered as red, and I did not want to paint the thing everyone already knows.
