Night blue above, and beneath it a bank of yellow and coral forms crowding upward, lit as though from somewhere in front.
The ground is the darkest in the series, which makes the yellow do something it does not do anywhere else in my work: it becomes a light source rather than a colour.
Nothing is reduced here. Forms overlap, colours argue, and the crowding is the subject.
